How To Use
Simply fill your chosen pot, container or planting hole with the compost, firming gently around the roots of your plant to remove any large air pockets. For border or bed use, work the compost into the top layer of existing soil to improve structure and give new plants a nutrient boost. Water in well after planting to help the compost settle and establish good contact with the roots.
Tips & Advice
Because this is a peat-free compost, it can behave slightly differently to peat-based mixes when it comes to moisture retention, so keep an eye on watering, particularly in the first few weeks after planting or in warmer weather. Store any unused compost in a dry, sheltered spot with the bag resealed to keep it fresh, and give it a light fork-over before use if it’s been stored for a while to reintroduce air and break up any compaction.
