How To Use
Before filling, make sure the damaged area is clean, dry and free from any loose debris or flaking material. Using a filling knife or small scraper, apply the ready mixed filler directly from the tub, pressing it firmly into the crack or hole and building up in thin layers for deeper repairs. Smooth off the surface as you go to minimise sanding later, then allow the filler to dry fully according to the depth of the repair before sanding to a flush finish and decorating as normal.
Tips & Advice
For larger or deeper holes, apply the filler in stages rather than all at once, letting each layer dry before adding the next to help prevent shrinkage or cracking. Keep the lid pressed on tightly between uses to stop the filler drying out in the tub, and if it starts to firm up slightly, a small amount of water worked in with the knife can help restore workability. Always prime bare filled areas before painting to ensure an even finish and stop the repair showing through the topcoat.
