How To Use
Before applying, make sure the wood surface is clean, dry and free from moss, algae or flaking old treatment. Pour the contents of the pouch into your existing Ronseal Shed & Fence sprayer or applicator, then apply evenly along the grain of the timber, working in manageable sections to avoid the product drying before you’ve finished a panel. One coat is usually sufficient for full coverage, though very absorbent or previously untreated wood may benefit from a light second application once the first has dried.
Tips & Advice
Choose a calm, dry day for application, as rain shortly after treating can wash away the product before it’s had a chance to soak in and cure properly. It’s worth giving the pouch a good shake before pouring to ensure the pigment is well mixed, as colour can settle slightly during storage. Keep any leftover product sealed and stored somewhere cool and frost-free so it stays usable for touch-ups later in the season, and always test on a small, inconspicuous area first if you’re treating a new type of wood.
