How To Use
Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning and removing any loose material, algae or mould using a suitable masonry cleaner. Stir the paint well before application and apply using a brush, roller or suitable spray equipment, applying two coats for optimal coverage and protection. Allow adequate drying time between coats as specified on the tin, typically 4-6 hours depending on weather conditions and surface porosity.
Tips & Advice
For best results, apply Sandtex Microseal Masonry Paint during dry weather with temperatures above 5°C and avoid painting in direct sunlight or when rain is forecast. If treating previously affected areas with mould or algae, consider using a dedicated masonry cleaner beforehand to ensure the paint’s mould inhibitors work effectively on a clean surface.
