How To Use
Before spraying, make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from grease or loose debris, and lightly sand glossy surfaces to help the paint key in properly. Shake the can thoroughly, then hold it upright around 20-30cm from the surface and apply in light, sweeping passes, building up the marble texture gradually rather than in one heavy coat. Allow each layer to dry before adding further coats, and always work in a well-ventilated area, protecting surrounding surfaces from overspray with dust sheets or masking tape.
Tips & Advice
For the most convincing marble look, vary your spraying distance and angle slightly between passes so the texture appears natural rather than uniform, and consider practising on a spare piece of card or scrap material first to get a feel for the spray pattern. This paint works particularly well on small to medium items such as vases, picture frames and garden pots, where the textured finish can really stand out, and a light coat of clear sealant afterwards can help protect the finish if the item will be used outdoors or handled frequently.
