How To Use
Sprinkle the granules evenly over the soil around the base of plants, borders or vegetable beds, following the guideline rate for the area you’re covering, then lightly rake or hoe into the top layer of soil. Water in well after application to help activate the feed, especially during dry spells. For best results, apply in spring as plants come into growth and again in autumn to condition the soil ahead of winter.
Tips & Advice
Because fish, blood and bone is a natural product, it can be attractive to pets and wildlife immediately after spreading, so it’s worth keeping dogs off treated areas until it’s been watered in or rained on. Wearing gloves during application is sensible, and washing hands afterwards is good practice. Store the bag in a dry, cool place with the top folded or sealed to keep moisture out and preserve its effectiveness for future use.
