How To Use
Scatter the pellets evenly over the soil surface around your plants, then lightly rake or hoe into the top layer of soil before watering well to help activate the slow-release process. For new beds and vegetable plots, work the pellets into the soil ahead of planting; for established plants, borders and lawns, apply around the base and water in. Reapply periodically through the growing season, following the guidance on the tub for the area you’re feeding, and always wash hands after handling.
Tips & Advice
Chicken manure pellets are a great alternative to chemical fertilisers for gardeners who prefer a more natural approach, and they’re gentler on soil life while still delivering a good boost of nutrients. Apply during the growing season when plants can make the most of the feed, and avoid piling pellets directly against stems or trunks to prevent scorching. Keep the tub lid firmly closed and store in a dry place, as the pellets can absorb moisture and clump if left exposed to damp conditions.
