How To Use
Take your cutting using a clean, sharp blade to ensure a neat cut, then dip the freshly cut end into the Vitax Organic Rooting Gel, making sure the base is evenly coated. Gently tap off any excess gel before inserting the cutting into a pot or tray of suitable compost or a propagation medium. Firm the compost around the stem, water lightly, and place in a warm, sheltered spot with good light but out of direct, scorching sun while the cutting establishes roots.
Tips & Advice
For best results, always use fresh cuttings taken from healthy, non-flowering shoots, as older or stressed material tends to root less reliably regardless of the gel used. Keep the lid tightly closed between uses to prevent the gel drying out, and avoid dipping cuttings directly into the bottle repeatedly — instead, pour a small amount into a separate dish to help keep the remaining product free from contamination. Maintaining consistent moisture and warmth around newly gelled cuttings will usually have as much impact on success as the rooting aid itself.
