How To Use
Ensure the substrate is clean, sound and free from dust, grease or loose material, priming beforehand where the surface is particularly porous or absorbent. Mix the Sikafloor-125 powder with the recommended amount of clean water using a suitable mixing paddle and drill until you have a smooth, lump-free, pourable consistency. Pour the mixed compound onto the floor promptly and spread using a trowel or spreader, allowing it to self-level; a pin/spiked roller can help release trapped air. Leave to cure undisturbed for the recommended time before walking on it or laying your chosen floor covering.
Tips & Advice
Work in manageable sections and have everything you need to hand, as self-levelling compounds begin to set relatively quickly once mixed, so plan your pour and timing before you start. Check the depth you need to fill, as very deep or uneven areas may require more than one bag or an additional build-up layer. Keep the room well-ventilated while the compound cures and avoid draughts or direct heat, which can cause it to dry unevenly, and always store any unused bags in a dry place to protect the powder from moisture.
