How To Use
Before painting, make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from loose material, moss or flaking old paint, using a stiff brush or pressure washer as needed and allowing plenty of drying time afterwards. Stir the paint thoroughly before use, then apply with a masonry brush or roller in even strokes, working in manageable sections to avoid visible overlap marks. Two coats are generally recommended for the best colour depth and even coverage, allowing the first coat to dry fully before applying the second. Choose a dry, mild day for painting and avoid application in direct hot sun, heavy rain, or when frost is forecast.
Tips & Advice
Porous or previously unpainted masonry may absorb more paint than expected, so it’s worth having a little extra on hand or budgeting for slightly reduced coverage on the first coat. If you’re painting a large wall, try to work from a fresh batch or lightly mix tins together beforehand to avoid subtle shade differences between tins. New render should be left to cure for the manufacturer’s recommended period before painting, and any bare patches or repairs are best treated with a suitable stabilising primer first to ensure the topcoat adheres evenly and lasts as long as possible.
