How To Use
Arrange a handful of the kindling sticks in a loose criss-cross or teepee shape at the base of your fire, stove or fire pit, leaving gaps for airflow. Light with a match or firelighter underneath the pile and allow the flames to take hold before gradually adding larger pieces of kindling and then logs once the fire is established. Always follow the guidance for your specific appliance and ensure adequate ventilation when burning indoors.
Tips & Advice
Store the kindling somewhere dry, as even ready-dried wood will reabsorb moisture if left in a damp shed or exposed to the elements, which can make it harder to light. Keeping a pack near your fireplace or fire pit means you always have a reliable fire-starter to hand, and pairing it with a few natural firelighters can make cold, damp evenings much easier to get a fire going quickly.
