How To Use
Fill the feeder with whole or shelled peanuts through the top, then hang it from a sturdy branch, bracket or dedicated bird feeding station at a height that keeps it clear of ground predators. Choose a spot with some nearby cover, such as a hedge or shrub, so birds feel safe visiting, and check the peanut level every few days to keep it topped up.
Tips & Advice
Give the feeder a regular clean with warm water to prevent mould and bacteria building up on old peanut residue, especially during damp weather, and always use fresh, good-quality peanuts rather than old or damp stock. Positioning the feeder away from fences or overhanging branches that squirrels could jump from will further reduce the chances of them reaching the peanuts, and rotating its position occasionally can help keep the ground beneath cleaner.
