How To Use
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or flaking paint before you start, sanding lightly where needed to give the paint something to grip onto. Stir the paint thoroughly before use, then apply with a good-quality brush or roller in thin, even coats, working in the direction of the wood grain where applicable. Thanks to its quick-drying nature you should be able to apply a second coat the same day, but always check the tin for the exact recoat time and allow the final coat to cure fully before the surface is put back into everyday use.
Tips & Advice
Bare or previously unpainted wood and metal will usually benefit from an appropriate primer or undercoat first, as this helps the satin topcoat go on more evenly and last longer. Work in a well-ventilated space and avoid painting in very cold, damp or humid conditions, as this can affect drying times and the final finish. Keep a little paint back in a labelled jar for future touch-ups, and always clean your brushes promptly to keep them in good condition for next time.
