How To Use
Place one or two firelighters in the centre of your charcoal, logs or coal, arranging your fuel loosely around and on top to allow air to circulate. Light the firelighter directly with a match or lighter and leave it to establish for several minutes before adding more fuel, giving the flames time to take hold naturally before you build up the fire further.
Tips & Advice
Store firelighters somewhere dry, as damp can affect how readily they catch light, and always keep a spare pack on hand for barbecue season or unexpected cold evenings by the fire. For a more even burn, break larger firelighters into smaller pieces and space them apart within your fuel rather than clustering them together, and always allow the fire to establish fully before adding more fuel or food to the grill.
