How To Use
Simply place the suet balls into a suitable suet ball feeder or wire mesh holder and hang it from a bird table, tree branch or bracket at a reasonable height away from ground predators. Alternatively, suet balls can be crumbled and scattered onto a bird table or clean patch of ground to attract species that prefer feeding at lower levels. Because these are loose fill with no netting, they’re ready to use straight away without needing to remove any wrapping.
Tips & Advice
For best results, position feeders near shrubs or trees so visiting birds have quick cover from predators, and try to keep feeding stations topped up consistently, as birds often return to reliable food sources. Store any unused suet balls in a cool, dry place to help keep them fresh, and clean feeders regularly to reduce the build-up of mould or bacteria, particularly during warmer, wetter spells.
