How To Use
Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size, load the cartridge into a standard sealant gun and apply a continuous bead or dabs of adhesive to one of the clean, dry surfaces to be joined. Press the two surfaces firmly together within a few minutes of application, and where possible support or clamp the join while the adhesive begins to cure. For sealing gaps or joints, smooth the bead with a wetted spatula or finger before it skins over, and remove any excess with a suitable solvent while still wet.
Tips & Advice
Always wipe down and de-grease surfaces before bonding, as dust, oil or old paint can weaken adhesion, and lightly roughening very smooth or glossy surfaces can help the adhesive grip. Work in a well-ventilated area and try to apply at room temperature for the best cure, bearing in mind that full strength develops over a day or so rather than instantly, so avoid heavy loading of the join until it has properly set. Keep the cartridge nozzle clean and resealed between uses to stop the remaining product curing in the tube.
