How To Use
Choose a spot in your garden that’s a little away from dense cover where cats or other predators could hide, but still close enough to hedges or shrubs for birds to retreat to if startled. Push or secure the station firmly into the ground so it stands stable, then hang your chosen feeders—seed feeders, fat ball holders, suet cages or nut feeders—from the available hooks and arms. Keep feeders topped up regularly, especially during colder months when natural food is scarce, and check the station periodically to make sure it remains steady and undamaged.
Tips & Advice
To keep visiting birds healthy, clean feeders and the surrounding area of the station every week or two to prevent mould and the build-up of droppings, which can spread disease. Try offering a mix of foods—sunflower hearts, suet, nyjer seed and peanuts—across the different hanging points to attract a broader range of species, from tits and finches to robins and sparrows. Positioning the station within view of a window is a great way to enjoy garden birdwatching while keeping feed and maintenance close at hand.
