How To Use
Clean and dry the surface thoroughly before application, removing any dirt, debris, or loose material. Peel back the backing tape gradually and press the bitumen flashing tape firmly onto the surface, working along the length to ensure good adhesion and eliminate air bubbles. For best results on cold days, gently warm the tape with a heat gun or allow it to warm in the sun before application to improve flexibility and bonding.
Tips & Advice
Always ensure the surface is completely dry before applying the tape – moisture will reduce adhesion and compromise the waterproof seal. For joints and seams, overlap the tape by at least 50mm and press firmly to create a continuous, watertight barrier. When sealing around protrusions or corners, gently warm the tape with a heat gun to help it conform smoothly to the contours without creasing or bunching.
